Default Stabilizer Bar Links junk?

I have had both my stabilizer bar links replaced twice now, only getting about 20K on them before the front end starts to rattle or bumps. This is getting kinda old.

I'm not sure what brand and/or quality of parts I get because two different shops have replaced them. I can assume NAPA as it's the only parts store in town. Any aftermarket units hold up any better?

I think its just the nature of the beast, these trucks eat them up. I'm on my 4th set within the past years and had the napa links and also the moog.

Maybe it's a 4x4 issue? I'm at 123K and still the original links. I did just replace the bushings a few months ago.

How high is the level on your truck?

My T-bar bolts are just about maxed out, a few threads still showing. I'm sure this does not help any. At least my truck sits level lol.

Anyway, looked at my invoices looks like I had them replaced in 09 @ 75K, once @ 88K in 2011 and need to be replaced @ 100K.

When I replace them I will also replace my worn steering shaft with a Borgeson unit. See how it works for me.

The maxed out level is likely your issue there.
