Default Rumble Bee Feedback And Opinions

Hey I am looking at a couple different Rumble Bees. One is an 04 and the other 2 are 05's. Just looking for feedback about them in general. Anything a guy should keep an eye out for when it comes to known problem areas? They range from 70,000 kilometers (43495 miles) to 120,000 kilometers (74564 miles). Is one color more sought after than the other (yellow vs black). Just looking for opinions and information before\if I pull the trigger on one. Thanks and look forward to reading what you have to say.

Pull the trigger before somebody else does. As with anything the only problem areas on these vehicles are the owners. Other than that, common things to have checked out are ball joints, wheel bearings. If it drives like a million bucks then get it. These are tough trucks, they won't leave you in the ditch stranded like a Chevy.

I'd prefer the Yellow. Black looks like a normal Ram. I would say Yellow is

The Rumble Bee is strictly an appearance package, that's it, just FYI. I wouldn't go paying a ridiculous amount of money for it because of that.

Here's some detailed info about Rumble Bee's

As far as problem areas, same as all other Rams of that era.

Biggest is rear diff failure for LSD equipped differentials.

The other big thing for most is that the 2004 + early 05's do not have advanced trans tuning for Diablo. Diablo can be custom tuned for engine mods.
Superchips has advanced trans tune for all years except it is a canned tune not adjustable for heavy engine mods(heavy cam , heads..etc)
Most don't do significant mods, just bolt-ons which any tuner supports.

OK, so I got looking around since it really has been a few years since I have done my research...which is slightly outdated.

The Diablosport doesn't have any tuning for 2004 and early 2005 because early 2005 had same Calibration ID as '04. Mid 05+ are all tunable.

Superchips apparently has trans tuning for every year 2004- 2012.

BOTH offer tuning for all years trans tuning aside.
