Hard Downshift 2nd to 1st gear with AC on

Hard Downshift 2nd to 1st gear with AC on
hello all,
I have a 2007 RAM 1500 4.7L Quad Cab wiht now 120000miles.
last weekend it was too hot for open windows and I turned my a/c on.
Now the problem. When I slow down (red light, 4-way stop, texting and driving jerks) and the transmission shifts from 2nd in 1st gear it makes a hard shift. When I just let run it out without slowing down with brakes, it ain't doing it.
I also noticed, when the a/c is off, it ain't doing it either. there the transmission shifts smooth and normal.
The a/c works also fine- at least it's cold.
is here anybody who had the same issue?
