I need to convert from the factory 4-way to 7-way for my truck camper. Anyone know where a hot wire is at the rear of the v6 RAM?

dkjrlj, I do not think there is a good Hot wire in the back to tap into... I would run a fused hot wire from the Battery back.. I Did the same on my Dodge but I also used a switch in dash.. I wanted to control when the trailer was supplied with power... Sometimes need it with the engine off and did not want the key in it... also wanted the ability to turn it off when not in use. I am going to change it to automaticly come on when the key is turned on, I will use a solenoid.... Good luck...
