last night I tryed to eject a cd from my stock cd player and it wouldnt come out .It keeps making a sound like it wants to but it wont and i have 6 cds in the player.Now all 6 cds are stuck in the cd player and it wont play any of them and the cd player is stuck on number 3 the discthe one i was trying to take out.only thing that works now is the radio how the heck can i get out the stuck cd without taking out the stereo and breaking it.????

 

I guess no one knows how to fix this then?

 

I would try disconnecting the battery, then retry ejecting. If that doesn't work, yes you will have to remove the radio and disassemble.

I un hooked the battery it didnt fix the issue with the cd player all the cds are still stuck inside the player.I was reading this is an issue with these 6 cd players.guess its time for a new stereo that plays only 1 cd at a time .

nope was no way to i bought a new stereo that only plays 1 cd at a time.

 

bummer. tried cleaning out with compressor, electronic cleaner. nothing worked. dealer told me the radio is also one of the computers for the car. were they pulling my leg or can I get any radio to put in it. its an 04 dodge Durango 4x4 5.7 slt

 

I no this is a couple weeks old. But I had a 6 disc in my 06 ram. All 6 got stuck. Tore mine apart. Got all 6 out. Tried everything to make it work. Nothin. Even did a 6 disc unit swap from a jeep. Tore both apart. Swapped the changer unit itself. Put together and reinstalled. Nothing. Gave up and finally bought a new aftermarket jvc. With pac audio unit to keep my steering wheel controls. Best thing I ever did.

 

MIne did the same thing i only had 4 cds in it and I tried to put something in it and unjam it. But didn't work
