Default Odd problem - pcm/instrument cluster

Just encountered an odd issue..I did a PCM reset on my 05 4.7..did the whole pull the PCM fuse, turn the key on ordeal..did this before with no issues as well..so anyway today I have found that the over head cluster has gone mad..the MPG resets itself after each time the key its turned back off..the temp has gone insane..today it was 75 out and my temp said it was 130!..and the miles till empty seems to read way higher than it ever did before with the same amount of gas in the tank...anybody have any clue here?? its got me mind boggled

Well i have no actually specific info that might help.. But with most computers id say try another hard reboot on her.. Id guess it can't hurt? I might be wrong though.

Id say start there and see if the issue continues.. Might have just been a fluke.

Future note... a Hard reset would involve pulling both batt terminals and touching them together for 10sec. This depeletes any stored power in any capacitor within the entire system.

You will likely get an initial small spark. Don't fear. it's normal.

Just make sure the battery isn't involved when you touch the terminal plugs together or you'll get fireworks..haha
