My question, small trailer plug (4way) with 3 holes, 2 wires to each hole, not the 7 pin built into the bumper, whats the best solution for cleaning out the factery plug under the bumper?

I went to uhaul not knowing my plug was caked with hard crusty salt, I tired electrical cleaner and digging out the plug with the small straw (sp) but need a quicker solution...

Dont want to buy the converter plug 7 pin to 4wd just yet..

6 years of road grime as the cover will not stay on the plug..

 

buy a replacement plug.. cut off old plug .. wire in new one...

Walmart ... like 6 dollars. its 4 wires....

cleaning will not work with that much destruction.... most of the copper is GONE.
