I need question answered befor 6pm tomarrow (10/18/2005).
Some one who may buy my truck was wondering if a snow plow could be put on the truck (truck info below).

I said possibly but the fact that it has the sport package/bumper may or may not present an issue with doing this?
he's comming to take a look at it tomarrow

It should fit, plus it won't kill the warranty. Hell all the plow prep package is is some stiffer springs more cca on the battery and and skid shield. The bumper on mine ( chrome with the black air damn strip needs to be modified.) The black strip needs to be cut to allow the blade mount hook into the frame, or just rmoved completely. I'm not 100% postive for sure but I'd imagaine the sport bumper would require some slight modifaction aswell, if it extends down any further than the chrome ones.

 

2500+ is AOK for plow setup on the Rams.

Read the owner's manual; it specifically speaks to your question. It's also something you can show the potential buyer to show the info is not something you just made up and that Dodge understands/anticipated this sort of usage.
