Question 2005 Dodge Ram Quad Cab Key
The key for a 2005 Dodge Ram Quad Cab, does it contain a chip? The reason I ask is because I need to make a copy of one. Thanks.

Black has no chip.
Grey does have a chip

Side question to this: Were there year to year differences in the chipped keys? Or options like keyless entry had the chips?

Early 3rd Gens had separate keys and fobs. Later learn went with a fob and key built into one
