Default Removing 03 1500 stub shaft

In need of some help, I went to replace my cv shaft/stub shaft. Problem is the half shaft came off but the stub shaft is stuck in the differential. I tried locking vice grips on it and hammering on them to get it to pop free but nothing, I now have the differential cover off and still can't get in there enough to get it free. I know they make a tool to pop it off but I don't have the time to wait for it to ship here.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Take the "C" clip off the drive shaft in the diff.
Then pull the whole lot out.
The stubs are known to be pig to separate and If you watch the youtube stuff about how to do it, there's a bloke on there that just uses a pry bar and he just pops it right off.
Everyone I've read about call BS on that lol.
Even with the whole assembly out, I've read they're still pigs to get apart, so doing it in situ is almost impossible at times.
Good luck bud.

Thanks for the help, I finally got it off,. I pulled the spider gears before I could get the clip out. After that it wasn't too bad, I'm hoping the bad half shaft is what was causing my highway shaking

Yeah.... Possibly was.
While your that far into the diff, change out the half shaft bearings and seals.
Good preventative maintenance.

I changed the seals, didn't even think of the bea rings before I put it all back together. I probably won't be owning her much longer so I'll let who ever buys it adventure into that when the time comes
