Default Truck wouldn't start

Woke up for work this morning and walked outside to leave and when I got in and tried to start it up nothing happened.

When I turned the key the anti-theft light went nuts and there was a noise coming from the truck but I can't really remember what it was.

I do use my key to get in and out of the truck. The key fob broke off of my key ring like two years ago and I've always just used the key since. I do still have it though.

Just trying to figure out if this is the anti-theft acting up or the battery.

I don't think it's the battery because all of the lights came on including the radio.

Battery can be strong enough to turn on the lights. And not have enough to turn the stated. Use a multi meter, see how the battery is.

use your Key fob.... my guess is that your truck is not seeing the key fob and thinks it's being stolen...

Got the battery tested and that was definitely the issue and it also seemed like the spark plugs needed replacing. Thanks for all the help!
