Default Are there any good performance blower motors?

Looking for one that blows... harder. Mine works but the connector got hot so a terminal on the blower motor pushes back into the housing when you plug the power in.

It makes a weird.. buffeting sound sometimes too. Either way I want a new one and was wondering if the aftermarket has designed one to blow harder?

2002 1500, "new" style.

Never seen a performance one. I mean, it's just a blower...... LoL.

Your fan motor resistor block controls voltage which is how speed is controlled. I'm going to need a new one soon too I think. Mine makes a terrible squeal from time to time. I could/should probably grease it.

I dont think so.

The stock blower motors blow pretty damn hard. I mean, on low there's barely anything there and then medium is only a little more but on High, it's ridiculous.

You may have a clog or a restirction such as a blend door or recirc door stuck closed.

Nah no restriction I just had the HVAC system out recently and replaced everything. It's all working as intended!

Was going to suggest the recirc door, found mine laying on top of the blower inlet the other day. Just reached up and pulled it out after the motor was removed
