Default 2003 ram 1500 throttle body issues

i have a 2003 dodge ram 1500 v8 4.7l, about the passed year its been having idling issues, so every now and then i have to clean out the throttle body. i cleaned it again lasted night for the first time in a few months with some B12 chem tool throttle body cleaner, once i cleaned it and put it all back together i started it up and it wont hold and idle at all, it just dies unless i hold the pedal down. any ideas on what could be goin on? maybe some spray and gunk got inside the engine while i was cleaning it? or the TPS just happend to magically go out after i cleaned it?

TPS may have finally taken a crap on you... replace it and also might want to consider replacing your PCV Valve(s)....

If you're getting that much Oil and build-up on your TB, then you might even want to consider putting a good quality oil/air separator w/ catch can in....? just a thought.

PCV valves definitely need to be replaced, there been a lot of burnt oil in my air intake, I guess I'll start with replacing the tps so I can hopefully get to work today. Just not sure how extensive it is to replace the PCV

Extremely Easy... twist/pull off and reverse to put back in... I can't remember if yours are threaded on or just the push on type... I also cannot remember if your engine has one or two... I'd assume two but I can't remember, Either way they are cake to change out.
