The Truck will jerk at lower speeds more than higher speeds... Keep in mind that the transmission will downshift and the MDS will turn off on the highway if you push the accelerator down far enough to increase the load, which might be the "jerk" you're experiencing.... which might point to your Torque Converter and/or Transmission engaging rough when you're coming out of OD and into 3rd or 4th gear....

Regardless, you can tune your transmission just as dirtydog is saying... when I finally get around to getting my Tuner, I'll likely be adjusting the transmission tuning.

But I'll be leaving my MDS on, mainly b/c I drive on the highway about 85%+ of the time, and I travel about 80 miles/day so I'd like to see a fuel economy improvement.

Sounds about right. I guess just have to learn to deal with it.

That's also the reason why I think I'll be leaving it on. I do about 70 miles/day on the highway so, even that 1mpg helps with leaving me enough for lunch at least.

Does anyone have any schedules, or know where to find ones that are a little less aggressive than Sil's? I noticed that just looking at the data sheets. I'd hate to spend all that time trying to come up with a new schedule if there's one out there already.

If I was you... I'd take Sil's and scale yours back until you're happy with how it performs... Just make sure you do your research on how that programming works before you start going crazy changing stuff...

Might give that a shot. I understand how to set the upshifts, I'm just a little confused on how to set the downshifts. I'll have to do some research on that.

read read, and read again... make sure you understand 100% b/c the last thing you want happening is the transmission downshifting to 1st gear at 60MPH.....
