Default Flowtech mufflers

Has anybody installed the flowtechs either afterburner or terminator in their trucks? I wonder how they sound and if they are louder than the flowmasters. Also does space in the muffler has anything to do with sound? I have the flows 40 delta and they are loud at high rpms, but loud as in loosing the deep pulses. Does this have to do with the fact that I have a V6? or are these mufflers meant to run in pairs? I.E. one muffler per 4 cyl in a V8. Any info will be welcomed since I dont know jack about mufflers, sound, exhaust displacement, length of muffler, etc, etc. I know a 6 wont sound like an 8, but something close at high rpms will be nice.

Default RE: Flowtech mufflers

A v6 isn't going to sound like a v8 no matter what you do. I had the after burner on my strat and changed it out for a flow master 50 series and there really isnt that mauch difference in the sound. Both have a nice rumble at idle and lower rpms but seem to change tone a bit at higher rpms.
