Default Arm Rest 12v outlet 2007 1500

Does anyone know which path and fuse the arm rest outlet is powered by? Both of my outlets in the dash work but not the center arms rest one. It would be real handy for hiding stuff to charge and keeping cables out of the way... I did not notice and blown fuses in the fuse block either.

I think it drops down the back of the console along the driver side and goes under the carpet.
I dont know which fuse.

I always thought it was on the same fuse as the outlet that is always on, on the dash...

Maybe you have a bad outlet instead of a blown fuse?

I pulled the outlet out and tested the wires on the plug. I'm not sure if it's on the same fuse as the constant one under the radio or not but that one does have power.

I assume the wires are live?

Did you check the connection inside of the outlet itself?

The prong directly at the center is the + and the whole metal exterior is the - (ground) connection, check that for power... if you don't have any there but have it at the wires then you're outlet is bad.

If you don't have power at the wires, you should check the connections downstream of it.

Also, if a fuse is blown you don't really need to know which one, just look for the one that's blown... use a fuse tester to find it.
