Default 38s on a 1500

Hey guys I have a 04 ram 1500 leveled with factory 20s and I'm looking for some mud tires. I can get a set of 38-10.5-r20 i was wondering if they you fit my truck because there not so wide so the shouldn't hit

That's a really big, heavy tire for the underwhelming front suspension parts... not to mention your transmission is going to hate you. Assuming you are 4WD? I think you will be breaking a lot of stuff with that big of a tire.

Jeez guys I was just asking for a straight yes or no I figured they would fit because my buddy has 36-13.5 on his leveled 1500 but they rubbed without a spacer. I figured they would be fine because they wernt so wide

Hell no they won't fit, and how did you find a tire that tall and that thin. A standard 35" tire is 12.5" wide. Don't try it without a 6" lift and maybe even a body lift which I'm not too fond of.

No. They will other fit with just a level kit. You could do a small suspension lift of a body lift and then you would be OK.

What you see in my signature pic is 37s with a 12" lift

do you have any sort of lift? I've got a 6" suspension lift and 3" body lift and i run 38x15.5's just fine. granted if you don't have any lift you may encounter rubbing even if they are a thinner tire.

I know with a 2.5" leveling kit that the Ram's can fit a 33" tire... but 38"? I'm not too sure about that one. Definitely look into a lift kit as well.

R20's are going to be extremely expensive. I went down to 17's with I think 35's and didn't have any issues
