Front axle install- not staying locked in clip
Hello,
I just replaced the hub and I'm trying to install a new front axle. This is on a 05 ram 1500 4x4. The circlip/snap ring that goes on the shaft near the pumpkin is giving me a problem. I can get the axle to click in but it doesn't stay clipped in, I can still pull the axle some after it's installed on the shaft. Could anyone give me some pointers on how to install this front axle correctly. Tried watching a few videos on youtube but they do not get into detail about this snap ring.
