My friend just picked up a 02 1500 XCAB Sport w/ 4 wheel and we set ours next to each other and mine sits about 2" higher than his does. We have different tire, but I don't think that would make that much difference. Were the 02s lower? Just wondering

 

There are a few things that would make a difference on the height of the truck, the majority of the 2002 came with 17 inch wheels as to the newer trucks came with 20 " wheels. Another would be 4x4 verses 2x4. Something else would be whether or not they are both the 1500 or not the 2500 and the 3500 sit higher than the 1500. I have the 2002 ram quad cab with 4x4 and it sits relatively close to all the other rams with 4x4 1500 so it really depends on what options and model you both have.

 

We both have 20s and are both 4x4s and are both 3rd Generation styles.
