'02 1500 4x4 When I am getting on the freeway and put it to the floor the engine will shift down and occasionally slip out of gear which causes over rev into the 6000 rpm range. Took it to the guy that rebuilt the trans 2 years ago he says its common for dodges. Called it over run. Haven't seen any posts on it. Anyone have the same problem or cure?

 

same truck never had that issue or have heard of it. It maybe a common problem that he has heard of, but none the less it should not be happening IMO.
