Default Possessed Ram
I have a 06 megacab .lately when I drive it the seat belt chime will come on the radio will shut off then come back on ,the blinkers will stop working and sometimes the fog lights will flash on and off .the alternater and starter were both checked along with a new battery .also sometimes when I hit a pothole of decent size the truck will shut off .I have no problems starting it . can someone tell me what's going on with this thing

That is an electrical short.

Oh the problems of 3rd genners...bust of luck resolving your issuse

If you are having gremlins like that, the TIPM would be my guess. It controls everything electrical, and are prone to failure.

It seems to be some type of electrical connection issue. Have you checked the fuses and wiring?

Was there a TIPM in a 2006? I thought they were 2007 and later.


EDIT: Nevermind, they had them earlier. Apparently the 2007 and later ones are included in the recalls and Class Action Suits.
