Default 2002 3.7 Burning oil

I have an 02 3.7 burning about a quart of oil every 1k miles or less this truck has 110k miles on it it with 0 leaks. It doesn't smoke at startup or when getting into it.

I've read about the issues with the intake pan gaskets on the 4.7, does the 3.7 suffer the same issue? I can see some shiny streaks in the far back of the intake behind the TB and looks wet around the holes where the vaccum lines connect.

Appreciate any input!

Oil leaks are simple. You either leak internally or externally.

If external, clean the engine and wait to see the fresh leak or wet area.

If nothing external, then it is internal. This means either valve guides or piston rings. Valve guides mean rebuild the heads. Piston rings mean rebuild the engine.

Of course you can re-ring an engine but it's not a long term solution although it is cheaper
