Exclamation Dodge turns off

While turning into the parking lot the other day, my 2005 Dodge Ram Quad Cab turned off. This is not the first time. It seems to happen when I turn sharp to the right or left and it kills my engine. The power is still on in the truck but the engine turns off. I assuming it is something to do with the power steering pump because it only happens when I turn the truck. Any help would be appreciated.

There was a tsb for this back around '07, required a simple PCM flash. Was for late '04s and all '05s. Was it ever performed on this truck?

My '04 did it only in reverse and only turning sharply to the left, but I could re-create it everytime. The PCM flash fixed it. Never did it again...

Thanks for the help. Is it possible for me to do the PCM flash myself?

No. Unless you have the proper equipment and software or work for a dealer.

I was going to say he could just wear a raincoat.

There was a Chrysler StarScan Tool for sale on ebay a while back, updated though 2011 vehicles for $8995.00 but I just checked the listing and it's sold.

Still probably a little bit cheaper to pay the dealer to flash it...
