Default Truck would not accelerate past 30 mph

Was wondering if anyone has experienced an issue where upon acceleration, their vehicle just would not speed up past 30 mph. After driving it further, I pulled over to turn it off and turn it back on again. Since then, it seems to have ceased.

Your Truck was in "Limp Home Mode" (aka Limp Mode)... which means the computer saw something very very wrong that could damage the truck so it limits your speed, fuel, and spark to slow speeds to allow you to get to the nearest service station or home.

You likely had a check engine light and one if not a few DTCs at the time.... if it comes back check the DTCs and see what is going on.... b/c it's likely important that you get it fixed.

I 3rd the limp mode. Definitely want to get that checked out if your ecu thinks theres a potentially devastating problem.
