Default overflow tank leaking coolant? help!

Hey, I have a 2003 dodge ram 4.7 and noticed some spots under the front of the truck a few weeks ago. I determined it to be coolant..and it was dripping from the cross member/cross beam right behind the radiator. ( sorry if thats that the right term) I noticed that the overflow container was wet..had coolant around it which was leaking down..then with the engine at operating temp. I popped the hood and there was like a hissing/fluid coming from the neck area of the container. I replaced the radiator cap and it was good for about 2 weeks and it just started again. I'm not losing that much fluid however I don't know if its a simple fix..or if I need to replace the overflow because the neck is cracked?

I checked the oil to make sure there was no mixing..oil was normal color. Truck does not over heat at all. not sure where/what to do.

update..there seems to be a small pin hole leak right near the base of the neck where you put the cap on..and the top of the overflow tank itself..

I have the same year/engine, a small crack and slow leak at the neck crease. Never really bothered the operation of the truck for over a year until I had to deal with it before a very long road trip. i just bought a used one and replaced it. All good now.

You can swap a radiator from an 08 in to the 03s. Did it to mine it eliminates the overflow tank. Small modifications needed like a lower radiator hose from an 08 and you have to swap one of the hoses that lead to the firewall. Pros of the swap is that the 2008s have bigger radiators than the 03
