In the meantime JB weld the crack? At the very least you would not be bleeding gear oil all over. I would wait to install another housing until you know it will be ok.

Well the third housing will be going in soon. I am going to leave the pass. axle off of the truck though. I have an old axle that I can use the end of to bolt into the hub so my wheel bearing does not go bad.

You probably don't wanna hear this but you are putting way to much stress on your axle your best bet in the long run is to loose the leveling shocks and put the longer ones in from rough country

I know, but I am going to try everything else first. Without those extra 2 inches I will most likely have all kinds of tire clearance issues.
