Horn problem--to no operation
Truck lost one horn operation several months ago and then the second a few weeks back. No horn sound from steering wheel or when locking with key fob.
Pulled horns out of fender and checked for any kind of resistance across double pins or from pins to ground. Found everything open on one and .7 ohms to ground on one of the pins on the other.
Reconnected 12 v and tried actuating horn to see if I would get 12 volts on one of the output pins on either of the horn wires. Found voltage on one of the sets only.
Put everything back together assuming I needed to get a replacement set of horns. Hooked up battery and get the emergency flashers on no matter what as well as no engine turn over and no codes, just a blank and P Done.
Any ideas?
