i uploaded a vid i made of the noise. This is noticeable on first start up (cold) and become less noticeable once it warms up, but the noise just sounds really bad.

2008 3.7L v6 with 77k mi

 

Could be a number of things, most of which aren't immediately concerning.

Sounds a lot like timing chain slap, which is common on the 3.7 and 4.7.

Could be a follower on the way out (another common issue on the 3.7 and 4.7)

it seems like your is noticeable even after its warmed up. How many mi. you have on the truck?

 

About 180,000 miles. Yes it's noticeable when warm. Though it doesn't always do the knock. Cold? No. Come to a stop after driving? No. Idle it for a minute? Yup!

Can feel it in the drivers side fender too, so it's got to be an issue on that side of the engine. Though I'm not that worried about it.
