Default Need Advise on Nitto's with small cracks

Hello, Im new to thee forum. I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 4x4 with a 3"BL and Nitto Mud grapplers. I recently noticed some cracks on my tires between the thread chunks. It is on all four tires only on the outside of the tire between the thread. Im sure this happened because of the sun hitting them and because i don"t use the truck all that much. Should i be worried about these blowing? Has anyone here ran tires like this here.. I dont do any highway driving mostly light driving around town and to my friends ranch. Im going to see if they can be remounted and turned so that the outside of the tire will be on the inside...Any advise wold be appreciated

If they are under a year old that is not normal... 2 years of sitting around without being driven on enough to heat-cycle the tire is enough to cause that.

If it gets worse than that I'd say they aren't safe for highway use....

Thanks. I had them remounted by a local tire shop to have the cracks onthe insdie. They pretty much told me the same thing.
