rotted rocker how much to replace?
my driver side rocker has a hole in it and has rotted out from rust.how much would a body shop charge me to replace it?i don't own a welder so I cant see replacing it myself I want it done right thanks.

It would need to be cut out with a grinder and a new one welded on.
I would guesstimate the time to grind old one off would be 4hrs between interior prep and removal. Then another 2hrs for metal prep and installing the new one.
So, 6hrs total for installing a new rocker and then another 1/2hr for clean-up if that was everything to be done....
That does not include prep and paint. That'll prob be $450 or so total.
In the end, I'd say $1k-1200 including parts and labor.
