Default Guys with leveling kits step inside..

I am wanting to level my 2005 dodge ram 1500 qc 4x4 with some 2" leveling keys with shocks. Well after reading and researching it seems like people have alot of issues with (cv's problems, ball joints wearing out alot faster, steering racks issues and ride problems) If this is indeed true then i am not going to bother as 2" isnt worth that. Just wanting some real feedback from you guys that have a leveling kit installed. I really want to level it if its not going to tear up everything

You shouldn't have any problems... once you start going higher than 2" and then adding in 35" or larger tires is when you'll start noticing issues with the steering...

Why don;t you crank your torsions to lift it up? Same thing as keys. I would just do 1.5". I have had my torsions cranked for 5 years now with no problems besides blow CV boots which were self inflicted.

Crank 'em it's no different than buying re-indexed (leveling) keys. They both put the same pressure on the torsion bars.

1 1/2" to a max of 2" is not bad on the CVs. Yes, ride will stiffen a little and there will suspension components will wear a bit faster, but IMO not a big issue...
