Electronic range select
New to forum, My ERS does not work when I press +/- on shift lever. I tow a lot so think this would be nice to have work. how can I check to see if its bad switch or something else. Have a 2008 dodge ram diesel 2500 my first diesel.

You may want to make sure you're operating it correctly... check your owners manual first...
if you're operating it correctly then this is likely a problem the dealership will need to troubleshoot, as they'll need to access the PCM to see if the shift signal is making it to the computer and then activating the solenoid to shift.
