Ask around before you buy. If you live where they salt or cinder the roads in the winter the rocker panels tend to get sand blasted in a short time ( have had it happen on 3 different trucks using the Westin CPS chrome stainless steel) and the chrome even on the SS does not hold up that well either. if you live where its nice go for it! they are easy ti install and look good

I bought Go Rhino SS bars from Real Truck.com and they are rusting already. They weren't cheap either, about $440. Mine are the wheel to wheel type.

I have an '05 1500 quad cab and got the summit house brand side bars. I think they look really nice and the install was very easy, everything fit into factory locations, no drilling or anything required.

Got a set of polished DeeZee's $345 (Canadian) installed ...live in a winter climate with salt on the road so no chrome for me. They look great and little polishing with Mothers makes em shine "pretty". My only comment is the step pads are little small for the size of the bar.

I have Iceberg polished stainless steel nerf bars on my truck, they have the rubber step mounted on the surface rather than recessed. I have been very pleased with them. I didn't go painted or chrome due to issues with rust.
