Default hid question

I'm looking at getting an hidextra canbus hid kit. My question is do I need projectors or can I just do plug and play. I've read that some bulbs you should use projectors so they focus the light and don't blind everyone else and some you don't.

Yes you need the new housings. In many(most?) states it's actually illegal to run HID kits in projector housings. Some will chime in and say well I've never had a problem with mine!

Which may be true. I've never gotten a speeding ticket either. We both share something in common.

True. Each state is different and some are becoming more and more vigilant against bulb upgrades that can be blinding. Do not go buy a project headlight off ebay as those are for halogens.

Overall, it is best to use hid Projectors versus just bulbs.

If you are interested, I have a full hid setup sitting in boxes. New headlights, morimoto Projectors and shrouds, 35w bulbs, ballasts and harness.

Super easy to install as everything is already done and makes it complete PnP.

I sent you a PM though
