Default no park

My 2003 1500 laramie will not shift into park. There are no codes and all other gears seem to be working fine.

Then the parking gear inside the trans is out of sync (mesh) or jacked up

Is there a way that I can fix it? Or am I gonna have to overhaul my trans?

Not 100% that's what it is but it's all else I can think of. Call around to some transmission shops and ask
