Finding someone to turn rotors was very difficult. It became a bigger problem when I wanted someone to know what the heck (O'reillys) they were doing. Just finding a rotor micrometer was completely impossible. It's a sad state of affairs when Napa doesn't have a mic or a lathe. If I hadn't gotten lucky finding the mechanic in the end, I was giving up & buying new.

Wanting "higher quality" (hopefully) brake parts was also a challenge that slowed me down. All in all, next time I will most likely just buy from a local parts store to make my life easier & my wife happier!

 

Speaking of NAPA.. when the local NAPA store changed ownership... I asked to purchase there rotor lathe.... was told by owner.. NAPA corporate demanded all be destroyed when current ownership ended.
