Nice to know. So this is mainly for looks then. Damn, thought i was onto something here. I want a "true ram air" hood but not like the current GM style types that are out there, and i dont want the srt-10 type either, something of the old shaker or air grabber mopar style hoods. Anyone by chance havce a pic of the underside of this hood? maybe some at engineering can make it a true ram air hood....just a thought...

While the scoop is open and there is an airbox under the hood it is not a sealed system. A true ram air system will have an airbox that seals against the hood when closed so all air gets pulled from outside. This company does have sealed ram air hoods, but not in the SRT10 style.

Oh Ok i thought it was a production srt-10 hood that just blew air across the engine like the other srt vehicles...Didn't see the part about it being a ram air hood. Looks good, but think i will wait for key stones shaker hood for the ram. But i would like to see some photos of the install and what it lookls like installed, and how it seals to the air box.
