I have an '08 Ram with a 5.7l eng. check eng. light is on and had a code P1401 was pulled. I have a slight surge @ 40mph give or take 5. My remote starter will start the eng but stalls after 10 seconds and wont restart. I'm at a dead end in finding the problem. where do I go from here?

 

I Can't find anything for a P1401 code. Moved to the correct section to see if anyone in the 3rd gen section can help you.

 

Its an egr temp sensor code. My guess is you will need to replace the egr valve.
