I am changing the hubs on my 07 1500 4x4. Trying to take the axle off from the differential and can slide it out 3 to 4 inches all the way to the end of the splines a inch past the snap ring. Can rotate it up down and too the sides but not off. I have tried pulling pushing prying. No luck. Any suggestions.?

 

Here is the video I used to do my 04... I had to pop the top ball joint to get the cv shaft out. While I was at it, I put new (rebuilt) ones in at $50 a side (cheap insurance).
