02 Dodge 1500 5.9 engine question

02 Dodge 1500 5.9 engine question
I know it has the body of the 03's and up and the 4.7 I think came out that year. But in 03 the Hemi came out. So my question is, Do I look in the 2nd gen forums for problems or in the 3rd. I know most of the 5.9 are in 02 or older. 02 was the changing year for Dodge. I also have a 02 dodge cummins and I know I have to watch when I buy things cause a lot of time its referring to 03 and newer, cause of the 1500. Another question is what else is different about the 02 5.9 truck than the 01 and older. Thanks

I can not help with your questions..
but,
I used to own a 1965 Chevy Impala with a 409 engine..
I had to tell parts store to look for a 1964,,, as NO 1965 came with a 409 .. but they did .. for the first week of production... as the 396 was delayed.
AND Yes it was a numbers matching car.
