Default Odd noise whu or wump changes with wheel speed

Hi, 2008 Ram 1500 4x4 SLT. Noise while driving sound varies with wheel rotation. Does not change with steering direction, does not go away with 4 wheel drive engaged, maybe changes when going up steep rise. First issue, from drivers side sounds like left front. From passenger side sounds like right rear. Front end off ground, rotate wheels both bearings sound fine. Lower ball joint on driver side small amount of play, upper fine. Some small amount of rotational play in 1/2 shaft. Lower and upper ball joints fine on passenger side, seems like more rotational play in 1/2 axle.
Front on ground, rear lifted, engine running truck in drive no sign of whu whu or wump or whatever sound this is. Could it be caused by the play in the 1/2 axles? I don't think is a tire, I don'f feel any vibration in steering or through seat. Any suggestions.

Sounds like a separated tire, or wheel bearing.

most likely a front tire. try rotating tires front to rear... check for different sounds.

second could be front wheel bearings.

Be aware that ball joints will probably not fix your issue.

I have '08 Ram SLT 4x2. with 20" wheels/tires. Have all new front end parts exc. A frame bushings. Alignment zeroed and centered. If I don't rotate every 2k to 2.5k the right front tire cups on the outside and gives the same rhythmic wump sound. Also think the R rear axle bearing is starting to go.
