Default CEL Code P0344

Truck has 126,000 miles on it, is unfortunately overdue for an oil change for the first time ever, and then stuttered for literally a moment tonight while driving at a constant speed. The CEL came on, and once stopped, I got was able to obtain the P0344 code.

Shows to be the camshaft sensor..but never had any issues with this truck thus far in it's lifetime. Any ideas that could avoid a major money expenditure?

It may or may not fix both problems. The cam position sensor code is a start. Look on you tube, many good how too videos.
