Will 17 inch rims fit my 2006 dodge ram 1500 that came with 20 inch rims?

Welcome to the forum. Moving to the correct section. That's a pretty vague question. Depends on what wheels. Stock 17" Ram wheels from the same model/year? Aftermarket? Same width, back spacing, offset?? I honestly cannot tell you yes or no based on the scant info provided.

As long as the pattern is correct (5 on 139mm) and not too radical on offset, yes. You'll like the better ride.

Rams come with 17's on base models. The 20's are merely an upgrade.
Yes, 17's will fit. 16's will not.

Please review the wheel/tire sticky up top for backspacing and tire size info.
