I recently brought my 2005 ram 1500 big horn crew 4x4 in for oil/lube/filter & tire rotation. The dealer told me that the tires are cupped in the front and I needed a wheel alignment too. I was shocked, truck only had 6900 miles and the front tires were shot. After talking with the service mgr he was willing to give me a free alignment. I said whoopie, I have a truck with 6900 miles and 2 bald tires and it's my fault. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem yet.

 

thats odd, i work at a dealer, well my dad owns it, but im not a mechanic, but i do own a hemi ram.....but havent seen anything like that! you would think warranty would cover it....unless you messed with the torsion bars, ive got almost 6000 miles on mine and havent rotated yet! and they arent cupped! sorry to hear that though!!

 

I would ask to see the before and after of the alighnment. with 6900 miles on it it should be covered. It would be interesting to see what numbers are off.

 

WELL I FOUND OUT THAT 2005 RAMS HAVE A TOW IN PROBLEM, WHICH YOUR DEALER WILL FIX FOR FREE. SO ALL YOU RAM OWNERS OUT THERE WITH THE 20IN WHEELS WATCH HOW THEY ARE WEARING
