Unhappy 2005 Ram bucking

1st time poster here. I have a 2005 Dodge ram that is, or feels like it's bucking, more noticeable when going up a hill. I've noted that if I add more gas and give it more power the truck does not buck but moves right up the hill.

I don't see any drop off in RPM's and to me it feels as if it is probably the transmission. I'm got it used so I am not sure if any transmission work has been done on it.

Should I get the transmission and filters changed out? Any other ideas?

Plugs, throttle body cleaning, air filter, pcv replacement. You can do a trans service. IMO, I would start with some simply maintenance.
