rear brakes
I have a 2004 dodge ram 1500 and am about to replace the rear brakes. Iv looked up plenty of videos on youtube and almost everyone shows how to replace the back brakes AND rotors. My question is do you need to replace the rotors when you do the back brakes?
I'm getting close on the rear's, too. 114k on the originals with some meat left. Original pads seem to wear the rotor nicely with only perhaps a turn needed for me. fingers crossed. Hope it is not much harder than the fronts. Need to find that tool to screw the pistons back in..
C clamp only works on front pistons now, rears usually are threaded and need to be 'screwed' back in with a special tool...unless for some reason Dodge bucks this trend on rear discs..?
