06 Ram 1500 rear light issues

like i said, when i got home everything worked but 3rd brake light. i checked fuses, and all seemed to be good. put a bulb in the 3rd brake light and it worked as well. but im still confused as to why i lost everything that night, but then it all works again like nothing ever happened, and no fuses blown in the process
