Just curious if anyone's done this, removed the resonator but left the rest of the factory exhaust on the Hemi? Obviously a new tailpipe would have to be crafted but has ynone done it, if so, how's the exhaust tone?

 

When I first got my truck. I got airaid setup then took the muffler off and sounds good.All you need is a 37' long piece of 3' pipe. the only bad thing that happens is you get the hemi fart at WOT. Then I got the paxton super charger and the SRTkiller kit ,then all my stock ex is gone Good luck

 

I have just the standard old school 18" glass pack and the 4.7 farts pretty good too........

Scairt the hell out of an old guy I was passing once. Farted right when the rear of the truck was even with the drivers door. Didn't do it on purpose but it was the funniest thing......to me and the wife anyway, I'm sure the old man didn't appreciate it.

 

I wouldn't be hard to remove the rear section, including the resonator and check for yourself. Just one clamp to undo. Put some WD on the rubber mounts and it will slip right off.
