Default factory trailer harness problem

does any one know where the the factory 4 pin plug splices into the chassis harness i have some corrosion on my plug and only the brake lights are working on the 4 pin connector. I would like to check where the wires splice in to the chassis harness but so far i have gone all the way to the axel and have not found it.

I have already checked the fuses and have not found any that are popped, if you can find a diagram that would be great.

Thanks

all the way back to the fuse box... under the hood..

if yours is like mine.. the electronic fuse box may have gone bad...
and is all most always start with the trailer light circuits..

check the trailer fuses... there should be several..
trailer tail lights
trailer left turn signal
trailer right turn signal

I ended up installing a powered aftermarket trailer wiring kit...

i checked all the fuses they are good only the left side lights wont work (turn and brake). the dodge trailer harness i got has a purple with black tracer wire that you are supposed to tap into th factory tail light harness. this wire is always dead so im not sure what it is supposed to do. my truck is an 03. What kind of powered harness are you talking about?

I was looking at that kit last night i'd much rather go this route than spend then spend the 300-800 dollars to replace the power distribution center
