Synthetic or conventional

hi all,
I have a 2003 Dodge ram 2500 5.7 Hemi. I was wondering what's the best oil to use: synthetic or non synthetic. I am currently running Mobil 1 5w30 conventional. The owners manual does not specify whether to use synthetic or non synthetic.

Ran Royal Purple and Mobile one both in my 04 Hemi. The Royal Purple quieted the Hemi tick a little. Either one is good. Synthetic is the way to go. You can go a little longer between changes.

Synthetic if you prefer extended oil change intervals. Tons of existing threads on here and tons of information available on the interweeb.

Oil gets dirty at the same rate. I use Pennzoil conventional Hi-Mileage 5W-30, changed every 5K or so.

THE question.. age old.

I have been using synthetic oil since 1974...

cars/truck/motorcycles/lawn tractor/lawn mowers/electric generator... I think I am forgetting One.
